This exquisite Quaich, crafted by Emporium Julium in Edinburgh, is the result of a collaborative effort between us and ceramicist Julija Pustovrh. After numerous sketches, discussions, and prototypes, we’re thrilled with how the final piece turned out.

A Quaich is a traditional Scottish drinking vessel, known as the "Cup of Friendship," with a unique shallow, two-handled design symbolizing trust and camaraderie. Originating in the 17th century, it was traditionally used at clan gatherings and ceremonies, passed from person to person to foster unity. Today, Quaichs are crafted from various materials, including wood, silver, and stoneware, often given as meaningful gifts at weddings and celebrations, honoring Scottish heritage and the spirit of sharing.

There’s nothing more convivial than sharing a Quaich of fine whisky in great company. It’s a cherished tradition, one we believe deserves to be celebrated with something equally exceptional.
Each Quaich measures approximately 16cm w x 3cm h. Each piece is stamped with the makers mark and Òr logo.
