This A4 landscape print takes inspiration from vintage fairytale illustrations and medieval manuscripts with its whimsical depictions and uses mauve, purple, green and blue shades. It's imagined by talented illustrator Maya Chessman from Tulips and Heather in her Norwich-based studio. 

The illustration depicts a figure at the waters edge, surrounded by fenland plants and dewy cobwebs, and accompanised by an eel leaping out of the river into their hands who says 'hold me fast and fear me not!' – a quote from the folk song Tam Lin. 

Maya loves to create storytelling art using pencil line-work and rich inks. This artwork is printed onto the highest quality 250gsm matte paper for a luxurious finish and is delivered wrapped in waterproof, recycled glassine with a card backing. Comes unframed.
