Hidden Scotland Magazine Issue 8

£15.00

A guide to Scotland’s hidden spots, this is a bi-annual magazine. A coffee table stable that will provide inspiration and information for travels around the country. The photos alone are enough to make you want to pack your bag. Founded by Jack Cairney in 2016, looking to inspire others to travel to and around Scotland but always sharing the message to roam responsibly “Take only photographs and leave only footprints”

Issue 8 was published Spring - Summer 2024.

It's been four years since Hidden Scotland released their first edition in early 2020, and the magazine's audience continues to grow.

Issue 8 has a feature article on Orkney by National Geographic photographer Jim Richardson, exploring the islands distant past, blending tradition, modernity, and prehistory. The theme of 'Auld and New’ continues as interior designer Banjo Beale shares his love for collecting beautiful items.

Between these features, you'll find Scottish tales and topics, including whisky, folklore, regenerative farming, botanic gardens, the reintroduction of wild beavers, Fife's wonders, and the creative business Ploterre.

The magazine is beautifully printed and of high quality but the intention is for it to be well used and to become a point of reference, they encourage this with dedicated note pages at different stages of the magazine. 20 x 25.5 cm.
