This set of 6 miniature candles are handmade by Cornish-based company St Eval, who has over 30 years' experience in making sustainably sourced candles. Each one is crafted from a blend of clean burning mineral wax and vegetable oils, then paired with a cotton wick.
St Eval is based in north Cornwall and is committed to supporting the local community by keeping age-old traditions alive while respecting the Earth.
The rich, charcoal-plum hue and ember scent is reminiscent of cedarwood and pine burning on the hearth, combined with a subtle hint of popped cardamom and drops of fragrant patchouli oil.
These candles are made with an original vintage drawing machine from the 1940s, gliding cotton wicks through molten wax to build layer by layer before being cut, milled and hand packed into their eco-friendly gift boxes.
They're delivered in a recyclable card gift box adorned with illustrations designed by Cornish artists to reflect the sensory experience of each scent.
Each candle measures approximately 1.3 x 15cm.
The burn time for these candles is 3-4 hours each. Keep the wick trimmed to around 10mm and remove the trimmings and match stubs for safety and best results. Don't move the candle when lit or while the wax is still hot and melting.
