Each hair pin is handmade using brass, they use brass as a material, as the recycling process is less energy-intensive in comparison to other metals, and yields a smaller carbon footprint.
To keep your brass accessories looking wonderful, keep them away from water, cleaning products and strong detergents. Spots and droplets will remain unless wiped down and dried immediately. Use a little fresh lemon juice, a teaspoon of baking soda and a scrap of old, soft cloth. Mix the lemon juice and baking soda into a paste and apply in small pea-sized amounts to your brass piece. Wipe off with the cloth and give it a good rub down to bring it up shiny! When you’re not wearing your brass pieces, keep them in a bag or box, where the air can’t get to them.
