A House in the Mountains is the result of our exclusive collaboration with the remarkably talented artist Hannah Farthing.
We discovered her work shortly after she completed her MA in illustration at the Edinburgh College of Art in 2021. Though originally from Suffolk, Hannah has an everlasting love for the Scottish landscape describing it as her 'greatest source of inspiration'. The print's winding river leads the eye through bothies and houses dotted within the wild landscape of Glencoe in the Scottish Highlands.
This original multi-block linocut is carved and printed completely by hand onto paper sustainably sourced in Britain. Hannah mixes all the inks for the prints herself which makes each one truly unique.
This limited-edition print is hand signed by the artist and printed onto G F Smith Colourplan 270gsm paper. Measuring A4. Print comes unframed and packaged in an eco-friendly bio cellophane sleeve.
Due to the handmade nature of the print, it may vary a little in colour and have slight imperfections which add to the individuality and uniqueness of each print.
