We're hosting in-person events and workshops at our stores on the Isle of Skye where you can learn new skills, chat to makers, and celebrate our milestones with us. We'd love to see you there!
Make your Christmas Wreath
Date: Saturday 21st November 2026
Time: 2pm-3:30pm
Place: The Studio, Portree, Isle of Skye, IV51 9BT
During this one and a half hour workshop, you'll be provided with all the materials you need to create a beautiful real-life wreath for your home.
Our friend and local florist Janet will be leading this workshop, guiding you through the techniques needed to create your festive wreath.
Janet will also be providing all the adornments you need to make your wreath unique, from bells, dried oranges and acorns to little brass bows.
As usual, the Òr team will be on hand to help and lay a wonderful spread of festive bakes for you to enjoy throughout.

Star Willow Weaving - SOLD OUT
Date: Friday 4th December 2026
Time: 2pm-5pm
Place: The Studio, Portree, Isle of Skye, IV51 9BT
Hosted in our Portree Studio by Skye local Laura Cunningham who will be providing all the materials and advice you need to create a set of beautiful stars.
During this three-hour workshop, you'll weave with locally grown willow from Laura and you'll have the opportunity to finish your stars with lengths of ribbon provided by Òr.
