We're hosting in-person events and workshops at our stores on the Isle of Skye where you can learn new skills, chat to makers, and celebrate our milestones with us. We'd love to see you there!
Creative Afternoon for International Women's Day

We're celebrating International Women's Day on Sunday 8th March with an afternoon of creativity.
Bring a project, whether it's knitting, drawing, collaging, or something new you'd like to try, and enjoy a slow Sunday of crafting together. There'll be homemade nibbles, drinks and our Anna's famous freshly baked treats to enjoy on the day.

Landscape Collage Workshop with Artist Eve Tong
Date: Sunday 22nd March 2026
Time: 1pm-4pm

We're thrilled to invite you to our afternoon of collaging led by Eve Tong, one of our wonderful Scottish artists here at Òr. When at home, Eve works from her studio in Edinburgh creating beautiful watercolour paintings of her hikes through the Highlands, all captured in miniature prints.
On the day, Eve will provide all the materials you need to create your very own art inspired by the landscapes of our Misty Isle. We'll have lots of homemade treats and fizz to enjoy too, as well as free gifts to take home, each hand-picked and wrapped by the team.

Willow Weaving with Skye maker Louise Kerr
Date: Friday 17th April 2026
Time: 6:30pm-9:30pm
Place: The Green, Portree, Isle of Skye, IV51 9BT
During this three-hour workshop, you'll learn to weave your very own swallow birds using willow provided by Louise.
Alongside the weaving, we'll have plenty of homemade bakes and drinks to indulge in, free gifts to take home, and the company of like-minded creatives to enjoy.
